Doing the same Excel steps every month?
Build the cleanup once as a pipeline of steps — filter, de-duplicate, trim, derive columns, merge, append — then save it as a template and run the identical steps on next month's file.
- 31 workflow steps
- Filter, dedupe, trim, split, retype
- Rule Builder — visual or plain language
- Save the pipeline as a template

It is not the work. It is the redoing.
Four things cost you the day each month, and all four are the same four things.
Trailing spaces break every lookup
“Sharma Traders ” and “Sharma Traders” are the same party to you and two different parties to a formula.
The same row appears four times
Remove Duplicates is a menu click until you have to run it across twelve sheets with a different header row on each.
The same filter, retyped every month
Exclude reversals, drop blanks, keep only this year. It is the same twenty clicks every single month, on a fresh file.
Last month's steps live in your head
Nobody wrote down the order. Next month you rebuild the routine from memory — and hope you did not skip the trim step.
Six steps that cover most monthly cleanup
They are all real steps in the app — and they chain in the order you put them.
Filter Rows
Keep only the rows that meet a condition. Different operators for text, numbers and dates.
Remove Duplicates
De-duplicate on all columns or on the key columns you pick, so two invoices to the same party survive.
Trim Whitespace
Strip leading and trailing spaces and collapse the extra ones, so the join on party name finally works.
Rule Builder
Write IF / THEN / ELSE rules visually or in plain language — create a column, update a column, keep rows or remove rows.
Merge Tables
Join the working dataset to a lookup sheet on a key, so a master column comes in without a VLOOKUP of 40,000 rows.
Append Sheets
Stack every monthly sheet in the workbook into one dataset — even when the sheet names differ.
And 25 more, all in the same step list
Load → Build → Rule → Save → Reuse
You build the pipeline once. After that it is a template with a Use button.
Load the file
Open the workbook, .xls or .csv and pick the sheet to work on. Scattered header rows can be moved into one header row first.
Build the pipeline
Add steps in order from the step list — filter, de-duplicate, trim, split, retype, derive a column. Each step shows a live preview of the data.
Add the rules
Where a step needs logic, use the Rule Builder. Write the rule visually, or in plain language and read back the parsed interpretation before you apply it.
Save as a template
Save the whole pipeline with its sheet and settings. It appears in Templates with its step count and how many times it has been run.
Run it next month
Open Templates, hit Use, and point it at the new file. The same steps run in the same order — nothing to remember, nothing to retype.
How the pipeline behaves
- Every step previews on your actual data before you commit it
- Steps run in order and can be reordered, disabled or removed
- Rule Builder shows the parsed rule before applying it
- Column From Examples infers a transformation from the outputs you type
- Remove Reversals clears reversal entries by matching reference and opposite amounts
- A pipeline saved as a template carries its sheet and settings with it
if Location Equals "33011" then Create Column Region "North" else "Other"
Parsed Rule Interpretation
1. IF Branch
Location equals 33011
THEN: Create Column Region = "North"
Fallback (ELSE)
Region = "Other"
Saved pipelines, ready to run
Every template card shows the sheet it works on, how many steps it contains and how many times it has been run. Open it, hit Use, point it at the new file.

What the pipeline keeps
- The steps, in order
- The sheet it works on
- Each step's settings
- The category tag
What the card shows you
- Step count
- Run count
- Last used
- Favourite star
Starting one
- Open Templates
- Pick the pipeline
- Hit Use
- Point it at the new file
It is not Excel, and it is not a script
The pipeline runs on the file directly, in a native Windows app. No macros, no add-ins, no formulas to break when a column moves, and no PowerShell to hand over to the next person.
- Reads and writes .xlsx, .xls and .csv
- Runs offline — files never leave your PC
- Works on large files that freeze a formula grid
- Steps are visible and named, so the logic is reviewable
